Second attempt at using our new charcoal grill. 🔥 Heat issue is resolved. Although now, the temp might be a little too high.
@kerryrm I did and it worked really well. My problem was that I had one of the vents closed so the temp was dropping quickly once I started cooking.
Grilling with charcoal for the first time. I’ll be honest, it’s not going great. The coals aren’t hot enough. I’ll figure it out next time. 🔥

My 8th grader has a seemingly endless amount of homework every night. And my high schooler is reviewing for AP exams starting next week.
It’s always fun when the girls want to go to the coffee shop to study with me. (My semester is over and I don’t have any pressing project deadlines, but I said yes anyway.)
@zoovaldes They are going to continue to support 7.0 and I hope that down the road, they’ll improve the migration process. I just really like what they’ve done with 7.1 and hate that it’s not easier to move blog content.

@zoovaldes So it started with me trying to move from Squarespace 7.0 to 7.1. That seems like it should be a simple process, but it’s really, really not. (7.1 is really solid, but migrating essentially means starting over.)

Dusting off the old Squarespace ➡️ Micro.Blog setup. I redesigned my site a while back and the new template didn’t handle posts without titles well. I finally switched templates back to something that works better.
Let me just say that moving posts from a Squarespace site I’ve had for 14 years is not an easy process. I don’t want to trash everything and start over. But…
Somehow “I need to rethink how I use social media” has become “I need to redesign my personal site.”
