Captive Social vs. Open Social: sketchbookb.com/journal/2019/1…

I find that I’m more productive in some coffee shops than others.

So far in 2019, I’m predominately using Micro.Blog (cross posting to Twitter) and Instagram (cross posting to Facebook). It’s working pretty well so far.

My son often puts drawings in my messenger bag. Just found this trash truck. t.co/1jAeZInCo…

It’s been a long week. Looking forward to the weekend and getting some much needed rest.

The new Honda dealership in Irmo is coming along nicely. I wonder when they’ll be open.

Y’all’re is my favorite contraction. For example: “Y’all’re crazy.”

Maybe it’s time for some people to take a look in the Facebook mirror. sketchbookb.com/journal/2019/1…

@USCJan Me too! What a great game.

I stayed up way too late last night watching South Carolina 🏀 shock Mississippi State in overtime. And then I was to hyped to go to sleep. Going to be a long day.

Great win by my Gamecocks. I love watching @FrankMartin_SC’s team and how hard they play.

When faced with a day of meetings, start the day with quality coffee. Long days call for strong coffee.

@davispr Jill tries the arm swing, too. But she was lots of steps behind. I think she walked around the house for an hour… and our house isn’t that big. 🤣

My 11-year-old is walking circles around the house because she and her friends are participating in a Fitbit challenge. And she is determined to win.

Math is an integral part of design… and we need to stop treating it as though it’s not. sketchbookb.com/journal/2019/1…

There really isn’t a good term for writing on the web. “Blogging” seems dated. “Posting” sounds trivial. “Content creation” sounds clinical.

Mary Poppins Returns was pretty good. Disappointed there was no end credits scene were Dr. Strange and Mary Poppins discuss how to beat Thanos.

I always try to accomplish too much on Saturdays.

I decided to take a walk at lunch. In the rain. Not my best choice.

@ChrisTrainorSC When the Persona on Bower Parkway closed, they just left the TV screen menu screens running for months.

@pamelabb It’s really nice and has a well-designed Apple Watch app, too.

I purchased Streaks for iOS after I saw it mentioned by Manton on Micro.Blog. What a beautifully designed app. Hopefully, it will help me get some healthy streaks going in 2019. streaksapp.com

First workout of 2019 in the books.

So our family accidentally showed up at a restaurant on trivia night. We finished third. Not a bad way to start 2019.
