It’s by and Interstate so it has lots of drive thru traffic and people coming in and grabbing drinks, but it’s amazing how much this place changed in the last couple of years.
I needed a change of pace so I’m working at my original “Grad School Starbucks.” It used to be busy on Sunday nights, but now it’s almost completely empty. Only one other person.
When I started grad school part time in 2018, I worked at a specific Starbucks every Sunday evening. Then the pandemic happened and a new Starbucks opened closer to my house and I haven’t been back to “Grad School Starbucks” in a couple of years.

@TheSpaceshipper I grew up watching TOS in syndication long before TNG premiered. Love TOS and have thoroughly enjoyed Strange New Worlds, too.

Went on a tour of Virginia Tech with my daughter yesterday. Tour guide walked backwards the entire mile-long tour. Now I understand why @caseyliss occasionally brags about his ability to walk backwards on ATP.
Love the new Lego Galaxy Explorer, but the new Lion Knight’s Castle is the most perfect nostalgia Lego set for me. I loved all the castle sets when I was a kid. theverge.com/2022/6/18/2317…
