Almost all news websites prioritize the video content, so I’m guessing that I’m in the minority. Or maybe, no one has really thought about the implications of their site design decisions…
I realized yesterday that I read all of my news. If there is a video, I skip it. I’d rather read the story below it. And I almost never watch news on TV (with the possible exception of major breaking news). Am I alone in this preference?

@kerryrm I’ve tried to listen to full albums lately and had this experience. It really is a different music listening experience.
@cwinston75 Apple’s got a list. I think some of them have selected content, but it looks like The State publishes everything to Apple News+.
Of course, that means that all of The State’s articles are available as part of the $10/month Apple News+ subscription, which includes a whole bunch of magazine content, too. That makes Apple News+ a pretty good deal for me.
Just discovered that The State is included in Apple News+.

@JeremyLittau One more thing to remember: For most of these kids, this isn’t a paid position. It’s not a “job.” I don’t necessarily think it’s fair to compare the situation to a professional newsroom.

@JeremyLittau I was at the U2/Public Enemy show here in Columbia and it was AMAZING, but my most 90s concert was Lollapalooza in Charlotte in 1994. Green Day, Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, Tribe Called Quest and more. Very, very 90s.

Okay… So maybe it’s time to update from my four-year-old iPhone 7 Max. I’m guessing I’ll go with the 12 or the 12 Mini. I don’t need the iPhone Pro features or the pricetag.
