Most consumer brands put their logos on everything. Could you imagine Nike making shoes without their logo? So Apple choosing not to put a logo on any of their wearable products is a notable design decision.
The choice to not use a logo isn’t related to the size of the device. They put a logo on the Apple Pencil. Instead, I think they’ve made a conscious choice that wearables don’t have logos.
In fact, it looks like none of their wearables have visible logos. Not on the AirPods or their cases. The Apple Watch has a tiny logo on the back, but it’s not visible when you are wearing it.
Interesting note: Apple’s AirPods Max do not have a logo on them. Not on the product and not on the case. There is nothing to identify them as an Apple product except for the design itself.
@JemiaWilliams Exactly. I can’t even imagine how I’d keep things straight without multiple addresses.
@JemiaWilliams Four that I use regularly. I manage email like you do. Different accounts for different reasons and I couldn’t live without them.
Self driving cars will be viable when they can navigate the middle school car rider line.
@JodyCollins @KateBeckinsale Love this movie. When Liz and I went to New York (a long time ago), we made sure to eat at Serendipity III.
Happy Safe Harbor Day, everyone! 🇺🇸 apnews.com/article/safe-h…
@delayedco My house is close to Saluda Shoals and could maybe find a picnic table or shelter during the day, too. I imagine it’s a ghost town during the week.
@delayedco That’s an interesting thought. I could just take a folding table and a chair somewhere. And I do love Harbison Forest…
Anyway, looking for a quiet spot to spend a few hours somewhere in Columbia that’s reasonably safe. Any one have any ideas?
Obviously, because of Coronavirus, I’m not going to spend a full day at a coffee shop. I’m trying to think of a different way to do my “retreat.” I don’t want to stay at home because I work from home every single day.
Typically, as the semester wraps up and I approach the end of the year, I take a day off and do some planning for next year. I call it my “retreat” and I spend a day (or two) at a coffee shop figuring out what I want to do. What are my themes for next year?
@kerryrm My listening has decreased because I’m not commuting. I listen to a bunch of tech podcasts like Upgrade on @relayfm. I’ve become slightly obsessed with writing utensils so I listen to @penaddict regularly. And a bunch of other random shows. I need to write a blog post about it :)
@kerryrm I’m very much a podcast person AND a blog person. I think monetization of blogs made them worse. And monetization of podcasts doesn’t necessarily make the worse (and actually, sometimes make them better).
@cwinston75 I mean, it’s probably because they have a larger number of locations or a bigger operation than I think. But it’s really interesting to look through it. I wonder how much total PPP money came through South Carolina?
@cwinston75 Some of those organizations received a lot more than I would have expected…
@MMewborne @LexRich5Schools My wife’s teaching kindergarten with FIVE this year and the amount of time and energy that goes into giving those kids a true kindergarten experience has been amazing.
@sbird1016 @aehickerson According to The State, there will be another board meeting Wednesday night to reconsider the proposal.
Clicked on a podcast that has dynamically inserted ads. Just got a Spanish-language ad for JC Penney…
@joeldavidsawyer The evidence is overwhelming. Overwhelmingly inadmissible in court, that is…
@joeldavidsawyer They’ll uncover the “truth” by holding “hearings” in hotel ballrooms.
@sbird1016 I thought that Dr. Melton and the district staff made a logical recommendation to protect our staff and students. I’m disappointed the board took no action, but unfortunately, not surprised.
@joeldavidsawyer All of this Dominion stuff is so easy to disprove. I am stunned that so many people are falling for it.
